That's great - thank-you. I hope all gets sorted out with the themes/worpress issue. I was directed to this site from wordpress just yesterday (!) and I'd feel that folk are missing out if this way of finding your site was denied to them.

The download for Blend 1.2.1 is now available from the theme page at http://spectacu.la/blend/ - you should be able to simply upload the new files straight over your installed theme without issue.

Hi - here's the news, along with a couple of other minor tweaks, we'll release an update to the theme tomorrow, at around 11am UK time. So about 12 hours from now. Sorry it's taken that long, really, but with everything else going on today (see the news piece about the 200 themes pulled from WordPress.org) it's been a bit crazy.

Hi CL -- thanks for the info. Good to hear there's an update on the way (minor though the problem is); I'll eagerly await it. Great template ...

Hi LC and welcome to the club.

We discovered this problem recently and have a fix available for this problem - it affects 2.6 and 2.7 only as they changed the way the search works. James was working on a fix and I believe it's now complete, but awaiting a release. I'll see if we can release this today and will post back here to let you know.

Hi,

The problem I drew most attention to above was actually not that hard to resolve. Namely, the dialogue associated with the Search box was simply meant to be there, as written into the template. So I just deleted/commented out this.

It would be nice, however, to enlarge the search box a little, and pad it out a little from the left edge of the sidebar (as it looks a little make-shift as it is). I thought this would be a simple matter of editing the relavent CSS attributes. But having made the values I thought would alter the search box greater, nothing has changed -- so if anyone does know the right values to alter, I would greater appreciate knowing this also! Thanks.

Hi,
I love the Blend template and have already installed it on my site! (a cafe review site -- it's as if Blend was custom made!)

There's just one small quirk to Blend -- when I activate the "Search" widget, the search box appears on the main page but the box is quite small and is accompanied by the following text

Sorry: Either hit the back button on your browser or use this search form to find what you where looking for.

Is there a solution to this?

Thanks
